HAUOMS Eight-drawer Dressers recalled because they can tip over and trap children
November 5, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
Jiastfeng is recalling HAUOMS Eight-drawer Dressers. The dressers violate the mandatory safety standard for clothing storage units, required by the STURDY Act.
The hazard
The dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall. This creates tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injuries or death to children.
Check if you own it
The recall covers HAUOMS Eight-drawer Dressers. They were sold online at Amazon.com from May 2025 through September 2026 for about $150. About 1,392 were sold.
What to do
Stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall. Place them in an area that children cannot access, and contact Jiastfeng for a full refund. You will be asked to write "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the top, front and sides of the dresser, remove all drawers, and send photos of the marked and disassembled dresser to recall@hauoms.com. Then dispose of the product.
