Agrish adult portable bed rails recall expanded: risk of serious injury or death
October 1, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
Agrish has reannounced and expanded its recall of Agrish Adult Portable Bed Rails. The record says the bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails. About 5,000 of these bed rails were previously recalled in January 2026.
The hazard
When the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This is a serious entrapment hazard and a risk of death by asphyxiation. The bed rails also do not meet structural stability or retention strap requirements, which poses a fall hazard. The push pins and push pin holes are incorrectly sized, which poses a laceration hazard. The firm has received one report of a consumer fall involving model AG-12011.
Check if you own it
The recall covers Agrish Adult Portable Bed Rails, models 12014, AG-12011 and 12016. They were sold online at Amazon.com from April 2025 through May 2026 for between $50 and $80.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails and contact Agrish Direct for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to go to http://www.agrish.online/recall to register for the recall and receive instructions on how to dispose of the recalled bed rail.
