October 22, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
CIYTI Light-Up Princess Costumes. The set includes a dress, crown, wand and remote. They were sold online at Amazon from February 2025 through June 2025 for between $21 and $35. About 94 were sold. The seller is FoShanShiNanHaiQuNuoAiTongZhuangShangHang, of China.
The hazard
The button cell batteries in the costumes are easy for children to get to, which does not meet the mandatory safety standard for toys. If a child swallows a button cell or coin battery, it can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death.
Check if you own it
Look for a CIYTI Light-Up Princess Costume, especially if you bought it on Amazon between February 2025 and June 2025.
What to do
Take the costume away from children right away and stop using it. Contact FoShanShiNanHaiQuNuoAiTongZhuangShangHang for a full refund. You will be asked to write "RECALLED" with permanent marker on the dress, crown, wand and remote, then throw the toys away. Then send a photo of the thrown-away toys to Norakid2026@outlook.com. Button cell batteries are hazardous, so dispose of or recycle them by following your local hazardous waste procedures.
