Papablic convertible bedside sleepers recalled
October 15, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
Papablic Bedside Sleepers with Play Yard Extensions, also called convertible bedside sleepers, are being recalled. They violate the mandatory safety standard for play yards. About 248 were sold.
The hazard
The mattress can become displaced, which can trap a baby between the sleeping pad and the bottom. This is a deadly suffocation hazard. The latching and locking mechanism can also fail and make the product collapse. That poses a risk of serious injury or deadly entrapment and fall hazards.
Check if you own it
Look for a Papablic Bedside Sleeper with Play Yard Extensions. It was sold online at Amazon.com and papablic.com from April 2025 through July 2026 for about $190.
What to do
Stop using the convertible bedside sleeper immediately and contact Papablic for a refund. You will be asked to disassemble the product, cut the mattress and fabric components in half, and email photos of the destroyed components to support@papablic.com. Once Papablic receives proof of destruction, it will issue a full refund, and you should dispose of the product.
