Recall: Easter LED Headbands
August 6, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
OKK Trading is recalling Easter LED Headbands. About 25,200 were sold mostly at retail dollar stores and gift stores in California, Texas and Arizona from November 2023 through April 2026, for between $1 and $2.
The hazard
The headbands violate the mandatory safety standard for toys with button cell and coin batteries. Children can easily get to the lithium coin batteries, which is an ingestion hazard. Swallowed button cell or coin batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
