Winston Porter and Seeday 3-, 4-, and 5-Drawer Dressers recalled because they can tip over
August 6, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
These are 3-drawer, 4-drawer, and 5-drawer dressers sold under the Winston Porter and Seeday names. The 3-drawer dresser was sold on Amazon.com from February 2026 through June 2026 for about $110. The 4-drawer dresser was sold on Amazon.com from February 2026 through June 2026 for about $130. The 5-drawer dresser was sold on Wayfair.com and Amazon.com from May 2025 through January 2026 for between $70 and $160.
The hazard
If the dressers are not anchored to the wall, they are unstable. They can tip over or trap a child, which can lead to serious injury or death. The dressers also do not meet the mandatory safety standard required by the STURDY Act. There has been one report of a tip-over that injured a 3-year-old child.
Check if you own it
Look at whether you have a Winston Porter or Seeday 3-, 4-, or 5-drawer dresser bought from Amazon.com or Wayfair.com. About 2,000 5-drawer, 28 3-drawer, and 22 4-drawer dressers are affected. You can contact Linyi Lingmoxuan and Seeday for instructions on how to identify affected units.
What to do
If the dresser is not anchored to the wall, stop using it right away and move it to a place children cannot get to. Contact Linyi Lingmoxuan and Seeday for instructions on how to dispose of the dresser and get a full refund. You will be asked to write the word "recalled" on the top and all sides of the dresser with a permanent marker, then email a photo showing it has been disposed of to Winstonporterseedayrecall@outlook.com.
