Recall: CuberShop Magnetic Speed Cubes Packaged With Loose Magnets
August 13, 2026 · Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
CuberShop Magnetic Stickerless Speed Cubes, model YJ MGC 5×5. About 132 were sold online at Amazon.com from April 2025 through June 2025 for between $20 and $25. The cubes were imported by SKY CUBE HK.
The hazard
The cubes were packaged with loose high-powered magnets, which do not meet the mandatory standard for toys. If a child swallows these magnets, they can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can cause perforations, twisting, or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning, and death.
