What it is

Zimtown Portable Gas and Fuel Cans, recalled by Fastbuy. About 200 were sold online at Walmart.com and Zimtown.com from May 2026 through July 2026 for between $32 and $63.

The hazard

The cap on these fuel cans is not child-resistant, which does not meet the requirement under the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act. This could put children at risk of burns and poisoning.

Check whether you have a Zimtown Portable Gas or Fuel Can that you bought online at Walmart.com or Zimtown.com between May 2026 and July 2026.

What to do

Stop using the can right away and contact Fastbuy for a full refund. Take the spout off, cut it into pieces with scissors, and throw it away separately from the container. Write "RECALLED" on the container, then send photos of the product to ZimtownFuelCanrecall@outlook.com.
