Kmaier infant walkers recalled because of a fall hazard
August 27, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
Kmaier Infant Walkers. About 243 were sold online at Target.com in June 2026 for between $62 and $70.
The hazard
The walkers do not meet the mandatory standard for infant walkers. They can fit through a standard doorway and do not stop at the edge of a step, which poses a fall hazard that could cause serious injury or death.
Check if you own it
Check whether you have a Kmaier infant walker, especially one bought on Target.com in June 2026.
What to do
Stop using the walker right away and contact Kmaier for a full refund. You will be asked to take the walker apart, cut the fabric seat, and write "Recalled" on the top of the tray with permanent marker. Then send a photo of the destroyed walker to TargetplusSJ@outlook.com and throw the walker away.
