September 10, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
ZMC Group has expanded its recall of light-up children's toys. The toys were sold at Diva at Heart, primarily in California, Texas, Oregon, Mississippi, and Arizona, and through various distributors and retail stores. They were also sold online at https://www.divaatheartsj.com/ from October 2018 through July 2026. About 245,124 toys are included, which covers the 124,560 battery-operated light-up toys recalled earlier on May 07, 2026.
The hazard
The toys break the mandatory safety standard for children's toys. They contain button cell batteries that children can easily get to. If button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, they can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death.
Check if you own it
Look for light-up children's toys bought from Diva at Heart, from distributors or retail stores, or online at https://www.divaatheartsj.com/ between October 2018 and July 2026.
What to do
Stop using the toys immediately, take them away from children, and contact ZMC Group for a full refund. You will be asked to remove the batteries, write "RECALLED" or a large "X" on the product with a permanent marker, and send a photo of the disposed product to recallzmctoy@gmail.com. Button cell batteries are hazardous. Dispose of or recycle them by following local hazardous waste procedures.
