Recall: Jerify Magnetic Humanoid Toy Sets 30 PCS (magnet swallowing risk)
September 17, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
Colerinsec is recalling the Jerify Magnetic Humanoid Toy Sets 30 PCS, also called Magnetic Stick Figure Toy Sets. They violate the mandatory standard for toys.
The hazard
Loose high-powered magnets can come out of the toys and be swallowed by children. Swallowed high-powered magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death. There have been two reports of children who removed magnets from the limbs and swallowed them. Both were hospitalized.
