SHEIN recalls Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys because of a choking hazard
September 17, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
SHEIN Distribution Corporation is recalling its Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys. They were sold online at SHEIN.com from December 2025 through April 2026 for about $10. About 644 were sold.
The hazard
The teething toys violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the silicone strings are smaller and longer than permitted. The silicone strings can reach the back of the throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and a deadly choking hazard.
Check if you own it
Check whether you have a Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toy that you bought on SHEIN.com between December 2025 and April 2026.
What to do
Stop using the recalled teething toys immediately and take them away from children. Contact SHEIN for a refund. You will be asked to cut the toy's silicone strings and send a photo of the destroyed toy to productrecall@shein.com. Then dispose of the destroyed product.
