Mochi Malrang Mystery Dumpling Toys recalled because the water beads inside expand too much
October 1, 2026 ยท Source: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
What it is
LLK Trading is recalling its Mochi Malrang Mystery Dumpling Toys. Each toy is a squeezy dumpling that comes in a tan plastic container. The toys do not meet the mandatory safety standard for toys.
The hazard
The water beads inside the dumplings expand larger than the standard allows. If a child swallows a water bead, it can cause choking and a blockage in the intestines. This can lead to severe discomfort, vomiting, and dehydration, and it carries a risk of death.
Check if you own it
Look for a Mochi Malrang Mystery Dumpling Toy, which is a squeezy dumpling in a tan plastic container. About 480 were sold. They were sold at Easy Wholesale in San Jose, California in July 2026 for about $10.
What to do
Stop using the toy right away and contact LLK Trading for a full refund. You will be asked to write "RECALLED" in permanent marker on the squeezy dumpling and its tan plastic container, then throw them away. Then email a photo of the items in the trash to llktradinginc@gmail.com.
